Happiest Mother’s Day (early but hey, if our kids can count down for 11 months until their next birthday, us mom’s can get a head start on our one day to celebrate us!) I’d ask what y’alls plans are but based on the current situation in our country I’m going to guess that they aren’t exactly what you had originally envisioned. Even though, if you asked me if I would want to be isolated a month ago for Mother’s Day I would probably say, LOCK ME UP AND THROW AWAY THE KEY.. THAT SOUNDS DREAMY! Alone time relaxing in bed was at the top of my list. But considering we’ve been quarantined for seventy-bajillion days within these four walls since then and I’m now resorting to talking to the birds out my window like Cinderella… I would just LOVE the exact opposite kind of celebration.

Nonetheless, it’s not about what we want anyways, because what matters most is just being with family and showing each other how much we love one another… or whatever a good mom says. I picked some fun stuff I’ve had my eye on or at least something I think your mom or mama friends would like too! Kept it simple and not too “cheesy”. Because the moms that say they want another mug that says #1 MOM or a necklace made out of macaroni noodles is a liar.
