These days we are spending most of our time outside in our backyard playing in the pool and adventuring creekside behind our house. We are absolutely loving the escape into intentional family time that our outside days are allowing us. While I am a huge fan of the ease and fun that we all enjoy thanks to pool dips doubling as showers (and all the mothers said AMEN) and the magical powers water has on siblings to get along. I also want to make sure my family is safe and protected, which led me to outfitting my family in SwimZip swimwear.

*Our sizing tips* For the most part we were true to our normal sizes. The boys/men’s shorts are shorter and more slim fitting that your standard board shorts. My pre-teen fit in the women’s XS just perfectly.

MY HONEST REVIEW: I was seriously impressed with the quality. The fabric was thick but not heavy and seems as though it will stand the test of time with daily dips in the pool which is standard for our Florida summer. It took the men in my life a little bit to adjust to the shorter and tighter fit of the swim trunks since they are used to below the knee board shorts, but I honestly liked the preppier and more polished cut. Having a zipper all the way down the front of the rash guard was such a relief to my son since we normally struggle to squeeze a soaking wet rash guard off over his head. Besides loving the obvious sun-protection feature my favorite qualities of our SwimZip suits were the modest fit offered for myself and my daughters. It was also such a pleasant surprise to find matching prints offered for my oldest and youngest girls. With the gap in their ages, they often want to match but I have a hard time finding that option with such the stretch of sizing. Overall, we are extremely happy with our SwimZip swimwear and accessories.
